1. Community Values and Conduct

Mountain Men is a community built on camaraderie, respect, and support. By joining, you agree to:

Treat all members with courtesy, patience, and respect.
Engage in good-humoured, inclusive, and constructive interactions.
Support fellow members and contribute positively to the community.
Take responsibility for your behaviour, both online and in person.

Our online spaces are an extension of how we interact face-to-face, and the same standards apply.

2. Acceptable Use of Online Platforms

You agree to use all Mountain Men online platforms (including Member Jungle, messaging groups, and social media) in a responsible and respectful manner.

You must:

Communicate in good faith and assume positive intent.
Keep private conversations and member information confidential.
Use humour and banter appropriately and without targeting others.

You must not:

Engage in personal attacks, harassment, or discriminatory behaviour.
Post content that is aggressive, inflammatory, or divisive (e.g. politics or religion).
Share confidential information, screenshots, or private discussions without consent.
Use Mountain Men platforms for unrelated advertising or promotion.
Post content that may harm the reputation of Mountain Men or its members.

3. Privacy and Confidentiality

By joining, you agree to:

Respect the privacy of all members.
Not share personal information, messages, or content outside the community without permission.
Use member information only for legitimate Mountain Men purposes.

4. Wellbeing and Support

Mountain Men is committed to supporting the wellbeing of its members.

You acknowledge that:

Members are encouraged to check in on each other and offer support.
If behaviour suggests someone may be struggling, the priority will be support - not punishment.
Committee members may reach out privately to offer assistance where appropriate.

5. Reporting and Issue Resolution

If issues arise within the community:

Members are encouraged to resolve matters respectfully and privately where appropriate.
Concerns may be raised confidentially with a member of the Committee of Management.
All matters will be reviewed fairly and collectively by the Committee.

No disciplinary action will be taken without a Committee decision.

6. Breach of Terms

Failure to comply with these Terms & Conditions may result in actions including:

Informal discussion or warning.
Temporary restriction from online platforms.
Suspension or removal from Mountain Men platforms.
Review of membership in serious cases.

All actions will be determined by the Committee of Management.

7. Governance and Policy Alignment

These Terms & Conditions should be read alongside Mountain Men’s:

Social Media Usage Policy

These documents form part of the broader governance framework and may be updated from time to time.

8. Agreement

By submitting your membership request, you confirm that you:

Have read and understood these Terms & Conditions
Agree to abide by them as a condition of membership
Understand that failure to comply may impact your participation in Mountain Men
